Angelo Yannotta

Angelo "Charlie" Yannotta, 88, of Inwood, NY passed away peacefully on April 28, 2022. He was born on September 7, 1933 in Jamaica, Queens to James and Filomena (Cinelli) Yannotta. Beloved Husband of Nohelia (Melendez) Yannotta. Father of Richard (Lika) and James (Rowena). Doting Grandfather of Benjamin, Gabrielle and Adrienne. He is survived by his sisters, Julia Ferraro and Ann Falzarano. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Benjamin Iannotti and sister Rosemarie Pastorelli. Devoted brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. A US Army Veteran, he was a Cement Mason and a proud member of the Cement Masons' local 780 for 60 years. He was the quarterback for the Basiley Park Bombers and was an outstanding handball player. His genuine smile as was his life were treasured gifts and he will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5th 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Meserole Five Towns Funeral Home (143 Lord Ave, Inwood, NY 11096). A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 6th 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (68 Wanser Ave, Inwood, NY 11096). A burial will be held on Friday, May 6th 2022 at the St. Charles Cemetery (2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735). A memorial donation can be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
