David Richard Hance Jr., better known as "Allied" through the gaming community passed away Tuesday May 2nd 2017 in Middletown, NY, after a multi year battle with Cancer. Beloved son of Rachel Leyden and David R. Hance. He was born on August 8th 1991 in New York City, and resided in Inwood, Long Island, Montgomeery, Orange County, as well as Georgia. David had a passion for the Electronic Gaming Industry, and worked as a substitute game caster for Luminosity Gaming. Prior to that, he worked for Hi-Rez Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, who developed the game Smite, in which he specialized in 2016. His Smite team EnVyUs landed first place in the Xbox Smite World Championships. Allied has been on many different teams during his career, including Root Gaming, Snipe Gaming, COGnitive Gaming and compLexity. Before Smite, David was active in the Smash Bros. community traveling around the country for tournaments. Aside from gaming, David had a great love for travel and animals. David is survived by his Mother Rachel and Stepfather Brian Leyden. His father David and Step mother Raquel. His Maternal Grandparents Ricardo and Nellie Rodriguez, Sisters Davina Hance, Devin Hance, Casey Leyden, Danielle Hance, Danica Hance, and Brother Ryan Leyden. Also numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. David leaves behind many great friends from the World-Wide Gaming Community
