McCabe, John F. "Smokey" of Cedarhurst NY on May 1, 2016. Beloved husband of Georganne. Devoted father of John D. (Jan), Warren J., and the late David F. McCabe. Cherished grandfather of Janna, Colin and Kevan. Dear brother of Peter, James and Patricia Commender. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Visiting at the Meserole Five Towns Funeral Home, 143 Lord Ave, Inwood, Wednesday, 4 - 8 pm Thursday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial, St. Joachim's R/C Church, Cedarhurst, Friday 10 am.
