Phelan, Mary L. (nee Crovella), age 92, on April 14, 2016. Lifelong resident of Inwood and parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel R/C Church. Daughter of the late Cosmo and Julia Crovella (nee Formickella). Predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters. Beloved wife of the late James J. Phelan. Adored mother of Timothy J. (Margaret), James J. Jr. (Laura), Eugene J., Thomas G. (Frances), John J. (Deirdre) Joseph P. (Anya), Ann M. Miles ( Edward), and Mary C. Quinn (Thomas). Proud grandmother of 24 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Visiting at the Meserole Five Towns Funeral Home, 143 Lord Ave, Inwood, Tuesday, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial, Our Lady of Good Counsel R/C Church, Inwood, Wednesday 9:30 am. Cremation Private
